Marketing Director

About the Opportunity:

Our Marketing Director plans and executes marketing tactics and programs to help attract new customers and retain/cross sell existing customers. Our Marketing Director will ensure marketing activities are in alignment with Company strategy and desired business performance.

The successful candidate is a player coach (willing to do the hands-on work), is a self-starter and a creative thinker who is highly detailed, loves to plan and execute internal online campaigns, e.g. Optimized Website, SEO + PPC, Blog & Content Marketing, Social Media and Email.  As well as, offline campaigns that include traditional print, e.g. postcard mailings. You’re accomplished with marketing technology, data and comfortable working with outside freelance help.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business- including digital marketing and traditional marketing campaigns.
  • Drives strategies that meet and exceed business goals through the integration of the website, mobile, digital advertising, email; with tracking/reporting technology. As well as, offline marketing with direct mail.
  • Manage and update company websites, including content management and development, review management, SEO, digital advertising, tracking/reporting.
  • Responsible for developing annual strategic marketing campaigns with set performance metrics and targets while managing all aspects of plan implementation including monitoring expenses.
  • Develop and execute effective new product go-to-market strategies that drives traffic and revenue.
  • Develop and manage promotional calendars.
  • Create brochures and other merchandising solutions to improve customer experience and drive new sales.
  • Working closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and industry insights.
  • Analyze competitors and market trends.
  • Partner with the sales team, continuously, ensuring goals are met by providing necessary tools, materials, and presentations
  • Work in partnership with internal and external teams to report on campaign effectiveness; provide improvement recommendations to executive team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and communications
  • Leadership experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns; experience leveraging the web as a marketing tool
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and market research methodology
  • Experience in using marketing data analytics and tools
  • Experience in development of short- and long-term marketing plans
  • Experience managing direct reports and marketing budgets
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM) and applications (Web Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.)
  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools

Contact Center Customer Service Representative Full or Part Time

Inbound Call Center – Messaging Service, Marketing Support Services Company

Daniels Communications, a division of The Daniels Group, is seeking qualified applicants for part-time  and full-time Contact Center CSR positions. Openings are available immediately. Schedule can be quite flexible. Ideal applicants can work flexible hours or swing shifts including weekends. Reliable attendance when scheduled is a must. Expected hours are between 15-20 per week. Marketing-minded Account Executive

Opportunity available at Daniels Graphics, a privately-owned commercial publishing, design, and print operation for a business development professional interested in earning six figures within three years, and long-term.

Account Executives are responsible for generating leads, creating connections, and solving marketing angst. This effort includes establishing specific, measurable sales goals. In addition, the Account Executive will create and maintain effective collaboration, communication and sales-focus with various internal partners. The marketing and print world is changing, we need reps who understand how to solve customer problems and create opportunities.


  • Identify sales-related goals; implement and manage sales and marketing programs, strategies and processes to attain those goals (i.e. appointments, event attendance, event results, phone call conversion, etc.).
  • Develop and implement specific, measurable sales strategies that address specific customer preferences and priorities
  • Fully understand marketing concepts, sales strategy, ways to address specific customer needs in print, email, web, purls etc.
  • Compile and analyze all sales reports, statistics and trends. Track efforts and create measurable goals. Be able to provide documentation.
  • Manage personal budget, expenses, targets and financial goals for the company. Understand the revenue goals and the marketing investments required to achieve these objectives.
  • Be an active participant in the daily sales operations of the sales office (i.e. taking appointments, taking walk-ins, answering phones, scheduling appointments, writing hand-written notes to customers, following-up with customers, setting-up events, attending sales events, etc.)
  • Be goal and outcome driven and be able to inspire others to do the same
  • Be able to deliver effective sales presentations that inspire prospective customers to take their next step in the sales cycle and in their research process. Presentation skills must be professional-level, well-developed, consistent, effective, energetic, entertaining and customer focused and must attain measurable sales results consistently. Must be able to think on your feet and address potential changes as they arise.


  • A Bachelors degree is required

Contact Center Project Management Rockstar

Daniels Communications, a division of The Daniels Group, started in the answering service business in 1955. Over the years we’ve expanded and evolved to be able to handle various call center based projects, both inbound and outbound. Our technology and our size allows us to be nimble and customer focused.

We need a Rockstar to help onboard new customers, determine what offerings would serve them the best, handle set up interviews, be a point of contact, answer questions, and create solutions.

Call center experience is not necessary. What is necessary is a quick grasp of technology, willingness to dig in and fully understand our tech offerings. A natural curiosity and genuine willingness to find the perfect solutions for our accounts.

Mail and Data Specialist

Daniels Graphics a leading graphic communications and mailing services provider is looking for candidates to fill an opening in our mail center. Our mail center handles projects ranging from simple direct mail addressing and traying to complex kitting and variable projects.

  • Qualifications include experience with ink-jet addressing- tabbing systems and inserters.
  • Knowledge of mail sorting software and postal regulations a plus.
  • Must be able to manage a busy environment and detailed logistics.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and there is some physical labor in terms of moving boxes and handling large mail projects.

Daniels Graphics, a division of The Daniels Group, is a full service commercial printer and mail house in Asheville, NC. We have been in business since 1948. We have a mix of offset and digital printing and a full service bindery department. We are looking for help in the bindery, someone that can help out on different pieces of equipment. Experience a big plus but not a requirement.

Logistics/Fulfillment Specialist

Daniels Graphics, a division of The Daniels Group, is a marketing support services company and a commercial printing company and mail house in Asheville, NC. We offer a wide range of fulfillment services including tradeshow management, marketing collateral management, pick and pack, and order fulfillment. We are looking for a detail oriented Swiss Army Knife person. We need help in the fulfillment and logistics department, but the ideal candidate would be able to also help out in other departments as needed including shipping and delivery.

The position requires a lot of standing, bending, lifting. Computer savvy and ability to pick up on software is a big plus. Knowledge of UPS/FedEx/USPS systems also a plus.

We’re looking for someone that is strong on details. Order fulfillment is a fast paced and growing area of our company. We handle various types of projects and accounts with custom needs.
